Too many cooks in the kitchen

If the founding fathers intended for every issue to be up for a public vote - they won't have created elected offices. I was driving by the "great wall of Candler" on I-40 and rolled my eyes again. I don't know how many people were involved in that creative process - but I hope the designer of the new I-26 connector (if it ever gets built) will think twice before they add decorative leaves to any concrete surface.
